WESTFIELD, Mass., May 14, 2010 – Westfield State College announced today the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAM) has selected Lansdowne Place, located at 38 Thomas Street in Westfield, as the site of Westfield State College’s first downtown student apartment housing location. Steady growth in enrollment at the college has resulted in substantial demand for student housing that exceeds Westfield State’s on-campus housing capacity.  DCAM will lease Lansdowne Place on behalf of the college from FS Holdings Lansdowne, LLC for 10 years.
