Mayor Dan Knapik has issued a formal statement concerning the Park Square Green Renovation currently underway in the center of our Downtown.

The project originated in the late 1990’s and the Town Common Preservation Initiative committee was formed.

There will be a public forum on Monday, June 14 at 7 p.m. at the South Middle School Auditorium for an update on the Green Restoration, the Great River Bridge Park construction, and the mayor’s plan to plant 200 trees in 2 years in our city neighborhoods.  Please check the city website, www.cityofwestfield.org, for any additional details.
