Westfield Yarn & Thread – April Class Schedule

Crochet Basics – 2 options:

4 Saturdays afternoons:  1:00 to 2:30 (beginning April 10)
Or Friday evenings 5:30 to 7:00 (beginning April 9)

Relax and have fun!  Learn the basic stitches of crochet and be on your way to following patterns & creating what your heart desires!
($55 includes beginning supplies)

Taste of Weaving:

4 Tuesday evenings: 5:00 to 6:30 (beginning April 6)
Sit down at a 4-harness loom ready for your creative spirit!  Experience the satisfaction of creating a piece of your very own fabric.  You can make it into a pillow or hang it on your wall but it will be yours – your colors, your creation!  ($55 plus $10 materials fee).

Knitting Basics

4 Wednesday evenings: 5:30 to 7:00 (beginning April 7)

You can do it!  Learn the basic stitches of knitting and be on your way to following a pattern.   A great anti-stress diversion from the daily grind!  ($55 includes beginning supplies)

Learn to Sew

4 Saturday mornings:  10:00 to 11:30 (beginning April 10)

Have a sewing machine and want to put it to use?  Want to know how to cut out a pattern, follow the instructions and put a simple shirt together?  Once you make one, you can feel confident to make another from different material, embellish it differently, make a different neckline.  The possibilities are limitless!  4 Saturday mornings (beginning April 10).  Students will be asked to bring an easy pattern and fabric of their choosing.  You can also bring your sewing machine (if you wish).  Please contact me if you are interested so that we can discuss details of this class.  ($55)

Tatting/Embroidery

Have an interest?  Please contact me so that we can set up the right class for you!  We teach shuttle tatting, crewel, free hand and crazy quilt embroidery!

FYI….We are planning a Ribbon Embroidery class in May with a local artist!  Watch for upcoming news – Saturday mornings are the plan!

Zbigniew Brzezinski is a Polish-born American political scientist, geostrategist and statesman, who served as United States National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter from 1977 to 1981.

He is currently professor of American foreign policy at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies, and a member of various boards and councils. He appears frequently as an expert on the PBS program The News Hour with Jim Lehrer.
