The School Street Bistro and the Premier Swing Band are proud to announce that the Big Band and Dance Concert Series has been a huge success and will continue thru the rest of the year. The shows feature the outstanding 8-piece Big Band/Swing Ensemble, the Premier Swing Band, led by David Neill of WSC. Dance lessons are provided by Jo Sarnelli and Jeff Landers of Small Planet Dancers. There will be a wide repertoire of jazz and swing music for dancing or listening. The concerts will be held in the School Street Bistro’s Music Hall on the 3rd Thursday of each
month, Sept 17, Oct 15, and Nov 19. The tables will be set around the perimeter of the Music Hall to provide a beautiful wooden dance floor for those that wish to dance. The doors open at 6:00 and the free dance lesson will be provided from 6:30 to 7:00. Then Premier Swing will play from 7:00 until 9:00. You’ll be able to order fine food and beverages from the Bistro menu all night. The cost for these wonderful evenings is a mere $10 so put on your dancing shoes and join us at the Bistro this autumn.
