<p>Dennis Picard, Director of Storrowton Village Museum, will be joined by Richard Colton, a Historian at the Springfield Armory National Historic Site, in this talk about the LieutenantRichard Falley’s life in Westfield from 1760 &#8211; 1810, and about the Springfield Armory and the U.S. Army Ordinance Dept. The talks will be given in conjunction with the display of two muskets made by Falley (one recently acquired by the Edwin Smith Historical Museum at the Athenaeum and authenticated as a Falley musket), along with other material relating to Lieutenant Falley, who was reported to have had an armory on Mt. Tekoa in  Montgomery.</p>

<p>Prizes will be awarded in the form of Westfield BID gift certificates which can be used at any BID member retailer or professional business.  See our business directory for participating members.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong><a href="http://www.thedistrictwestfield.com/wp-content/uploads/sax.jpg"><img class="alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-904" title="sax" src="http://www.thedistrictwestfield.com/wp-content/uploads/sax-150x150.jpg" alt="sax" width="150" height="150" /></a>Westfield on Weekends</strong> is proud to announce the first of the <strong>2010 Spring Music Hall Series</strong> concerts. This year’s inaugural event will be held at the <strong>School St Bistro</strong> on <strong>Feb 13</strong> and will feature the renowned local favorites,<strong> Brass Attack.</strong> There will be a special dinner menu and a cash bar for all patrons.</p>
<p>This year’s theme will be a celebration of <strong>Mardi Gras</strong> and the end of winter.  Doors will open at <strong>6:00PM</strong> with cocktails served at <strong>6:30PM</strong>. The concert and dancing will commence at <strong>7:00PM </strong> and <strong>Brass Attack</strong> will play into the night.</p>
<p>Tickets for<strong> Brass Attack</strong> are <strong>$15</strong> before the show.
