2011 Farmers’ Market Every Thursday June 16th -Sept. 29th

The Downtown Westfield Farmers’ Market will begin June 16th, once again this year it will be held outside in the Goodwill Parking lot, at 47 Franklin Street.

Shadow Valley Farms brings farm fresh milk and 8 varieties of homemade Ice Cream! West Parrish Orchards from right here in Westfield is now here with fresh picked apples and juicy peaches.

Pignatare Farms, Berkshire Mountain Bakery, Cal’s Famous Zucchini Relish, Blue Gate Farms and Stony Creek Farms & Baked Goods are just a few of the vendors returning for another great season along with a few new ones! Locally grown veggies and fruits, rustic sourdough breads & croissants, relishes, homemade pies, jams & jellies and farm fresh eggs are some of the freshest products you’ll find straight off the farm.

The market will run from June 16th through Sept. 29, every Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

2011 Memorial Day Parade

The 2011 Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 30th beginning at 10:00 am. The parade will begin on North Elm Street, travel down Union Avenue across the new bridge, south on Elm Street, turn right onto Franklin Street, then turn left onto Washington Street. The parade will then take a left onto Court Street, turn right onto Holland Avenue and end at Parker’s Memorial Park across from South Middle School.

After working up a hunger and thirst during the parade and ceremony, come and join the barbecue on the South Middle front lawn. Burgers, hotdogs, soda and water will be sold between 9:30 – 1p.m. to benefit the South Middle Aspirations program.
