Farmer’s Market
The Westfield Business Improvement District (WBID) is proud to announce The Downtown Westfield Farmers’ Market will be back every Thursday from June 16th to September 29th 2011 between the hours of 1:30pm and 5:30pm. In 2010 we moved the market from the green to the parking lot at Goodwill Industries, 47 Franklin Street with much success. As the Park Square Green will be under construction again this season we are happy to announce the Goodwill, with its onsite parking, will host the 2011 Farmers’ Market once again.
Our goal remains the same; to support our local family owned farms and food producers. Locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables, plants & flowers, home baked breads & goods, free range eggs, goat cheese, honey, maple syrup and other local products are needed to make our market the great success it has been for the past 3 years. The WBID is presently accepting applications from interested local farmers.
The WBID will continue to provide support with significant marketing coverage, administration and overall insurance (*each farmer will be expected to have their own insurance as well). If you are interested in bringing your fresh local products and promoting healthy living to our community please contact Patti at the Westfield Business Improvement District, (413) 572-1260 or email patti@thedistrictwestfield.com for applications to participate in this year’s market.
