AmeliaPark.jpgAmelia’s Garden was built to honor the life of Amelia A. Ferst. Better known as Millie, Mrs. Ferst was a beautiful, humble person who never looked to be recognized for all the good deeds she did. The centerpiece of the Garden is The Green, which is a 1/2 acre elliptical open lawn. A raised granite curb edge and brick walkway lined with Aristocrat Pear Trees, double-headed BEGA park lights, and unique park benches define the Green’s perimeter. This open space is used for special events such as weddings, small concerts, and outdoor events.
